What is Raizel Hernandez’s background, experience, and language proficiency?

Raizel has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 2012, giving her over a decade of experience in litigation, negotiation, and transactional work. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, ensuring that clients can comfortably communicate in the language they prefer. Her academic and professional background reflect her strong commitment to the law: she earned her J.D., cum laude, from St. Thomas University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Political Science & Business Law from the University of Miami. Before becoming an attorney, she worked as a paralegal for nine years across multiple practice areas, clerked for a judge, and served as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County. She remains in good standing with the Florida Bar.

During your initial consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to share the details of your case, ask questions, and explore potential strategies. Depending on the matter, this consultation may be complimentary or offered at a reduced cost. To make the most of your meeting, please bring all relevant documents (such as contracts, leases, insurance policies, or correspondence), a timeline of events, and a clear idea of your goals. When it comes to fees, RHF Law typically works on hourly billing for litigation and transactional services, but in some cases, we may arrange flat fees or alternative fee agreements. For certain matters like real estate closings or insurance claims, fixed fees may also be available. We’ll clarify the billing structure up front so there are no surprises.

What if there’s a dispute, can RHF Law help with dispute resolution outside of court, such as mediation or negotiation?

Yes. While litigation is sometimes necessary, RHF Law believes in exploring alternatives like mediation, arbitration, or direct negotiation when possible. These pathways often save time, expense, and stress, while still advocating for clients’ rights.
